Darling Point Sailing Squadron was established in the 1920s on the Wynnum-Manly foreshore and catered mainly for skiffs sailing from Darling Point, Brisbane.
A clubhouse was built in the 1950s and moved to Norfolk Point, Manly Boat Harbour when that area of reclaimed land was opened for community clubs and organisations.
