Blimey I would have said the opposite! I'm not an Andy Green fan, due to discussion and actions at a Wilson Trophy one year, but his spiel was pretty good especially during the 2nd race. Cam Lewis however, was on a totally different planet and even made Mr Simmonds Olympic coverage seem professional and accurate. At one point he was trying to tell us all that this was the first wing used in AC, WRONG!!! then he started going off on one about something totally unrelated for 2minutes.

I watched the coverage initially on Sky Sports News online, as this was the only feed that didnt try and buffer every second. However much to my annoyance it cut out halfway down the reach saying that it was the end of the broadcast! Switched to the BMW Oracle site and ended up putting up with the occasional pause while it buffered and caught up. Viewing from the official ac site was useless, I guess this was because I was unwilling to download the Rayv software they wanted me to use?

Anyway in general coverage was very good, just a shame the DOG courses are so large as the legs do seem to go on a bit. Shorter course more laps would have really demonstrated the boathandling a bit.

There wasn't much to cover.  The 4 big mistakes could have gotten better real time coverage over the internet.  Cam Lewis should have been on top of this, but it was like he was reading a ticker tape of the race.

When BMW jibed on the lay line; then slowed down measurably to go behind; and Alinghi did not tack on them, I was amazed that none of the commentators could see what BMWOR was trying and even more amazed when Alinhghi did nothing and three-times more amazed when the commentators did not immediately that Alinghi had just dug a hole for herself. 

So, yes, I thought the commentators on the internet were only marginally better than a weather lady with large breasts would have been.

When will the next non-deed of gift challenge take place?

At this stage can the US challenger refuse another deed of gift challenger.

I'd pick 100 foot long Moths! 

Aye- GGYC have shown SNG the classier way to do it- have a challenger lined up, but have one that's an actual, not made-up-specially-for-the-purpose, real club and team.
