Your Level 2 PB course can get you an ICC which is valid either for Inland or Coastal depending on where you do it. If you do not have a Level 2 PB cert, you can do a CEVNI practical test along with the theoretical test. This is not equivalent to a Level 2 PB cert The CEVNI is totally separate and if you use a boat in Europe, you will need to do one. If your CEVNI was done in the UK, it is only valid if you use a UK registered boat in Europe. Some countries will not recognise a UK cert on a non-UK registered boat (ie hired) and will make you take another CEVNI test for their country. No prizes for guessing which ones!
