You had wind? None to speak of here... I stayed at home boat building instead...

40-50 odd boats out today I reckon. It felt like a good place to be.

Sun was out, still breezy and baltic, but we must have had 15 boats out and some kids in Fevas practising getting their booms tangled in old boys shrouds at the pin end of the start line.

Lovely and warm up here at Largs for the Barton Warm Up open series yesterday. 18 boats, all types from Osprey to Topper.

Anyone? Sadly, sat at home working today. Any good tales today? Any new developments spotted or brewing? Anything worth starting a new thread about?

I rarely sail in hot weather, the wind needs to be exceptional to tempt me out, so I spent day working on boat and OOD for first 2 races (purely to allow person who was on duty to have a couple of races).

I did, wind nice but shifty, sunshine, hills and friends. Crap in one race, not bad in another. Sat outside pub, went for walk on lovely evening. Not a bad old life!
