I have to say this one annoys me more then anything else, why is it when you advertise a boat for sale you get loads of people asking for pictures of the boat and then never e-mailing back to say thank you, or thanks but thats not what i was looking for???  It drives me to distraction, if you just want pictures of my boat ask, i will gladly send them on.  But why the f**k e-mail and not respond????

Anyway rant over, what annoys you most about anything to do with sailing?

Wet suit boots that you forgot to dry out immediately you got home... In fact rancid damp sailing gear in general.

people who by the fastest boat to be ahead on the water and still end up finishing last, i mean why not just learn to sail a boat that suits you and that you can sail to be competitive?

We used to have a bit of that at our Club a few years ago, then one day a bunch of my youth group came ashore at lunchtime and told me about the poor manners/standards/cheating that they'd been sujected to.

I had a quick chat with the Rear Com. then stood on a chair and explained a few facts to the membership.  In fairness, I actually received a round of applause from the vast majority when I'd finished, and I've not needed to do it since! LOL LOL
