are they good boats to sail i have only seen the fun rig one at our club and to be honest the person sailing it was a novice so i have not seen what one could do?

Indeed.

TT - I didnt even TRY going upwind on the Grafham day .. Reached off the shore, Reached back etc etc etc

The few times I did try going upwind, It was closer to a close reach with the main almost flogging!

The new sails make a hell of a difference, Downwind was much quicker .. And I got planing much quicker than I would have done with the old kite.

Upwind - Main is much more powerfull ... Hence the heel in that pic It wasnt like that for the whole beat .. Honest!!

Not really the boats fault. Spinnaker got caught on a shackle that I stupidly forgot to tape up. Both of those things could happen to any one in any boat with a spinnaker and a trapeze.



Dreaming of fixing the boat, no. Upgrading it and making it go FASTER, YES!
