Wednesday night racing came to a dusky end quite some time ago and with only two weekends left of our frostbite series to go before the Winter break , I ask you

WOT NOW MY MULTIHULLED AMIGOS ??

I am already beginning to dread a long winter of discontent what with decorating and garden maintenance looming large on the horizon, there's only so long I can keep myself occupied playing with scammers pretending to buy my old boat (hurricane for sale), or even me scamming the other half that my carbon A really does need sanded and varnished, I refuse to have an R.C. laser and there's no other racing around, There's no snow yet and it's dark by 5:30. I don't really want to be lost in the internet or sat glued to the idiot box so  help

Any other sensible(ish) and any legal(ish) suggestions would be much appreciated.

Already looking to the new season

Redhotchilicat.

Thanks James sounds interesting if a bit wet unfortunately no garage and I wouldn't be too popular with that in the front room. However boat building a fantastic distraction me thinks I'll start drawing ...something saucy!

Thanks for that I'd love to come to the F18 worlds however I couldn't afford Aruba this year come to think of it I couldn't afford Grafham either don't know what to mortgage off first, my house, wife or spare kidney come to think of it I may have to swap my spare kidney for a new liver if I can't find a more constructive past time for the slow (cold, wet and gale force wind) season.

Anyway having seen pictures of those ferocious drop bears I'm a bit weary of Oz

Bit warey of Oz myself , kept slappin the back of my head when not looking !!!,

Ps heard if you crioss a kidney with the dna from an abasinnian newt , you can grow a new liver  !!!!, not tried it myself , let me know before I have too !

Where do you sail where the Frostbite ends before the frosts start? We keep going all year round with a series of pursuit races on Boxing day! Of course it's always bloody freezing here so we don't notice the winter but our Summer season runs from May to September and our Icebreaker from October to March (with a two week ski break in Jan for those who haven't just bought a new spinnaker). We actually get higher turn outs in the winter as a lot of boats from other clubs who don't do winter sailing come along as guests.

Have you thought about spending the time trying to locate a barbers shop?

There are radio controlled cat classes which might be of more interest than RC Lasers? And when the lake freezes over, strap skates to the bottom of the A Class - don't forget the GPS to tell us how fast you went!
