Ultimate Sailing Car

   Just got a towbar put on my new steed (BMW 118D SE) and was pleasantly impressed how well it towed. It did set me thinking though, as to what the perfest car is for dragging your boat around. 
Ultimately you want something with comfy seats, which will waft you home after a hard day sailing and return 50mpg whilst holding all your paraphernalia.
Audi A4 Avant TDI anyone. Or a Rover 75 Estate if you sail a GP 14...

	haven't managed to get 50mpg out of my Audi Avant ( but it is great )

	Used to know someone who towed a Tornado behind a Black 911 Turbo ! I'd probably go for an Audi RS4 Avant which had also been sent off to MTM / one of theother loony Audi tuners for around 550BHP Edited by Scooby_simon

	I think it depends on what boat you have But then again if your with the RYA try a volvo My choice get a van
