Any pizza sold on the shores of Garda after a full days sailing in the ora is the best ... washed down with a few Peronis as you soak up the evening sun recounting the final run at warp factor 3 ...

Apparentely in Garda, there is a pizza shop which will sell you a pizza which will fill a plate and in like just coverered in mound upon mound of cheese. Sounds good after the intense 25knot sailing.!!

All you can eat for £5?  If was quality, then why give it away?  Especially if its customers can eat 14 slices per visit.

mmm pizza hut. All you can eat for £5! that's brilliant, I always go there for my lunch with mates. Can usually eat about 14 slices of pizza on a good day (with pasta salad and bread).
Needs to sail more...

I like the Margharita pizza you get in Pizza Express best

I've never shopped for pizza at ASDA, in fact, I've never shopped in there before.  I agree, Pizza Hut is yucky.

No No No, it is constantly evolving to keep pace with modern times. Ever improving and always satisfying. It has an air of traditional design about it with plenty of updated mods to satisfy even the most critical of pizza fans.

Face it Dave, Asda is an old mans pizza.... symmetrical, overweight, uncompetitive against newer designs, unfair to the chews, only easy to chew if you have light wind and most untrendy.

Ah but you can have it built to your own design, weight of topping, thickness of base etc. Much better than having all the raw materials in your own workshop and the associated waste management problems. I like to think of them as custom builders.

They do also provide SMOD pizzas but they are boring, and made for the masses who are new to this food type, or indeed do not want the hassle of having to work out what tastes best. The SMOD product may suit many but it is not as finely tuned as the custom built option.

ASDA IS THE KING OF PIZZA BUILDERS.

Im sorry for continuing this lame parody of a former thread, but Im bored, and nobody else is on line so........

In response to Jardines puctual attempt at defining one design of pizza by a series of arbitary rules, which over time can be modified, corrupted, and used to encorporate any number of pizza developments, I can only point out just how far from the ideal vision of a one pizza, fair and equal for all for ever, this is. Further, any wish to deviate from a single manufacturer concept breaches the standard, by which I stand (and will stake my reputaion), of fair pizza chewing (and helping).

As for Mr BWDave's bold assertion that a single manufacturer can, or should, manufacture variations into their, suposedly, one make pizzas is a sad tale, for all us SMOD pizza lovers everywhere. His reference to their comercial, speaks volumes about the strength of force, marketing can have on the swayable pizza market, and also, dare I say, on the degree of attention the company in question pays to its marketing rather than the uniformity of their pizzas. It is for this reason alone, that I, and my fellow competitors, chews not to endorse their pizza.
