So, if you had a stocking big enough, what boat would you like Santa to fill it with?

I'll kick off with an International 12.

Please Sir, can I have a 5o for sea racing in the summer, a D-Zero for pond racing in the winter, and an Élan 450 for swanning around the Med in with friends and family. I've been very good... Kept the floods away this year and evryfink.

Predictably I would like a brand new Merlin Rocket to name plus (probably as importantly) a new body replacement so that I could sail her to the max.

If only those scientists would get on with producing whole body replacements rather than piffling about with the bits!!

Thanks to having inherited some money I mostly have the boats I love, but our Christmas present to us is this.  Aggie has been with Chris Somner most of the year but is now ready for fitting out.  Only slightly nervous.

the same, but different...

The new 45 kilo all up Fire Blaze, that one with the kite option he's been promising for years and can I have it with the 1071 yardstick when it's in single rig mode and 1030 with the kite?

Better still I'd like a manufacturers 'build any boat you give us drawings of' gift token, I'm stalled trying to make my mind up which wood to buy and where to get it from and I can't stop myself from constantly changing the plans.

A shiny d-one would do nicely, but failing that a family that are happy to give me the time to go sailing when I eventually do get one
Everything I say is my opinion, honest

Santa and the epoxy elves are working hard on another project at the moment but they really have not forgotten the missives 'you' keep sending to the 'North Pole'.... He's already done a bit of preliminary work on it.

Even Santa however cannot 'fix' the handicaps as you should already know.    You might have to sit on an old mans knee somewhere else for that one - I'd try asking nicely first maybe.  LOL

PS - Greame -  I'm sure we said it was going to be with the 11.5m Halo rig though ?

Nessa, chris has done a lovely job of your 14.  It's breathtakingly beautiful.  I really would love to have a go in her when she is finished.  If ever you need a crew!
