I really love these sort of ideas. It reminds me of the 6ft skiff designs this forum saw. We've seen a few 'Frankenboats' mentioned too, but are there any more dreams that you fear we'll never see taking shape in the garage? Let's hear them all!

I find my mind often wandering, considering how to combine the bits of boat I own in a new way. What would a Merlin Rocket mainsail/mast look like, with a trapeze, on that old Cadet hull my daughter is using as a sandpit? Hmmmm...

Take a 12ft GRP hull and turn it into a cutter rigged yawl (4 sails). More sheets than a Salcombe Yawl and it's much smaller!

Thats less silly than the person who originally put one on a Minisail, surely?

I like mine narrow. The hull shape makes it easier than a pointy bow would be for the width.
