With 226 different classes listed here I feel I will always be able to find somthing that suits where I sail, the type of courses on offer, the prevailing wind and water conditions and the other boats that my fellow club members race.

Feck it, I don't really know where Hythe is, somewhere on the way to the Channel Tunnel I think, but I am going to go there tomorrow.  There will be no spin, no bias, I want to see this thing for myself and I will post again on return.

You will be joining the assembled ranks of other forumites who will be making the journey from as far afield as Forfar. I believe a snack wagon has been ordered and a press village is being set up.

..... is anywhere 'big' enough for an event with this potential impact and interest ?  Portland anyone, after all it is a world launch opportunity ?  You've got to make the most of these occasions after all.  So maybe sometime in August if the world can wait that long and they can move that minor event they are holding there.    Wink

In the meantime a few 'previews' such as the Glyn Charles would keep the anoraks on here happy ... with a few 'teaser' video's along the way as well.  Spray, sunshine, waves, ... and er GRF .... I can see it all now.
