This year is all about building the extension so sailing will be minimal but some things can't be given up easily.
First planned event is to a beautiful location - Wales' best kept sailing secret - Clywedog http://cvrda.org/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=25&pos=1
then a combined club and cvrda weekend at Roadford - can we have some decent weather this year?
Ullswater will be our main break and then cvrda rally at Hunts and great hospitality with Nessa (Wingin' It) and co.

Apart from that we hope to sail some Tuesday or Wednesday evenings too as it's such a bonus to do a full days work AND go sailing.

If this summer is like the last two, then I shall be spending some of my time looking for jobs in the southern hemisphere... rather than freezing my a*s off at the sailing club.... in July!

But if there is time and fair weather, then fed week is always very tempting.

Well, my summer won't be starting this weekend after all.

Had to cancel the cvrda/Minisail/BM training weekend, as the forecast is simply dreadful, and I really don't want people travelling though it only to get no sailing in. More info about that on the cvrda forum, if Nessa or anyone else spots this post first.

This weather really is shocking, I can't remember a time when my Magnolia hadn't bloomed by my birthday and usually it's in extreme bud by Mar 1st. I'd hoped to go for a bit of a windsurf tomorrow (Golden Day) but right now there's a wind that will cut through you like an ice knife blowing about force 7 down the channel and leaden skies with snow threatened.
It's been going on so long, really depressing so I'm equally depressed to read your event is cancelled, to cold even for wood botherers eh?
I don't know about summer, just double digit temperature would do me right now..

Fear not, "Heavenly Holland" has just plopped the following quote onto my Facebook page:

“No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.” - Hal Borland

Who is/was that idiot?

Ask him when the 3000 website is ever going to go live?

3k website has sort of come back to life already, and actually looks sexier than before, but has lost its photos or forum topics.

I am sure that a certain club-mate of yours, GRF, will have no problem fixing it, and I am equally sure that you'll dispute that.

Well I did wonder what your relationship with him was such that you'd refer to him as 'Heavenly'

Ah, I see.  'Heavenly Holland' is nice pics delivered daily to your Facebook page, not "Heavenly Hollands" - now there's a thought, indeed.
