I find P&B can be ever so slightly sluggish once in a while, though that's compared with my 'usual' - N'hampton Sailboats - who are always lightning fast and on the ball.

At times with Northampton I reckon they could only have been quicker if they took orders based on long-distance mind-reading.

+1 for Northampton Sailboats - always good service. The also have the best catalogue by far. When I'm buying boat stuff I want to know how big it is , how strong it is and where holes are - generally that info is in their catalogue. It can be a bit tricky to find stuff on their website so best to have the catalogue to hand.

Rooster good service again - but the info is a bit lacking on the website. They have some good branded products though.

After a not-so-good experience trying to buy sails from them I don't use P&B who also seem the dearest.
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

The trailer has finialy arrived! There was the problems that I couldn't put it together because it hadn't been welded properly. I must admit that Mersea Trailers were almost helpfull and they have agreed to make a new bit and post it to me, they have also allowed me to put the angle grinder to the miss manufactured part so that I have something to put the boat on.

On the flip side I just picked up a second hand wet suit from a mate and no hassel so far!

Sounds like a bodge? If it is, is it roadworthy? (The trailer I meant!)

Yup, it's a Javlin from 1976 (that one in the advert). Trouble is, the model comes with it, so perhaps not as roadworthy any more. LOL

I have bodged the trolliey, I did some rought calcs on the stress on the weld that I have reduced in lenght and I think that it will be ok for moving the boat around the dinghy park. I am not so sure how it would cope with use on the back of the combie on the road. Not a massive problem as I am not planning on going to an open meeting untill the end of the mounth when I am hoping that the corrected part will be ready.

As for the wetsuit I am not planning on taking it out on the road
