Yup, pedigree jobbies. Brains and brawn and a hidden opposable thumb.
Marvellous.

Sorry but I find the idea of cows tying knots udderly ridiculous Smile. Daftest thing I've herd in a long(horn) time Smile. Sounds like a bit of bull to me Smile Still, might as well milk it for all it's worth Smile

Here's a rather handy website http://www.animatedknots.com/

Just watch those knots tie themselves!

Rolling hitch - useful when flying. A length of rope instead of a belt, tiedwith a rolling hitch... infinitely adjustable and passes through the scanner.

Probably the most useful knot I know.

PS Are here really sailors who don(t know how to scull? How do they manage?

Yes, they call themselves the Dinghy Cruising Association. They have no need of sculling as if the wind is below 7 knots or above 10 knots they fire up the outboard motor.

As a proud member of the DCA, and owner of a boat that has no outboard... we scull and row as necessary.

And I use a rolling hitch to apply a block and tackle to the jib halliard if I want to tighten it.

A rolling hitch is also essential on bigger boats if you get a  riding turn on a winch.
