hey guys!

Burnham week was awesome! thoroughly enjoyed racing u guys. Were heading up to Burnham in a few hours and taking Nemo around to Mersea tomorrow morning. Seriously jealous of your delivery trips home! hopefully ours will be similar on Monday.

Tim was your picture taken just before zipper put u on the mud?? shame there wasnt a photo taken a few minutes later!!

Sadly Si and I are taking Nemo out the water next tuesday as we are off to uni and won't have time to come back before Xmas :( we are hopefully getting a guy to come down from Rorc on Tuesday to weigh the boat when we crane her out. very expensive though to use their load cell!!

Mark

Hey mark

Er, yep, that was just before Zipper puttied us. So glad they didn't get a pic 5 mins later. Have a good delivery and good luck at Dabchicks. You'll be racing against Nigel Theadom in his new J80 and I'd be very interested to see how you get on against the boat as we're going to be racing it the week after.

I'll be interested to see how heavy you are. Have you been using standard hull data up till now? Upstart seems to be a good bit lighter than some others that have been weighed

dabbys is going to be a burnham week reunion of sorts i think!!!

reckon you might weigh more than us as we always seemed to catch up on the downwind legs, even with a smaller kite.

That's not tooooo small. Both our kites are 40.5sqm, though the asy pulls like a much bigger one with the right angle.

Your kite certainly doesn't look too small. We've got a knackered old 50sqm we aren't rated for and use for delivering and that does look huuuuge

your right that does look enormous!

might just be perception then, cos all week our kite looked tiny compared to you and nemo, with both of yours hitting the pullpit!  ours was still a metre off, might just be down to shape and set though?!

think next year i'll invest in some downwind cloth, but i think we're pretty quick downhill anyway.
