Sorry Maxine, the Carsington Cat open is scheduled for the 21st / 22nd September. Although the class website lists a Hurricaine event at Carsington on 13th April, there is no mention of it on the club calendar - probably best to double check the arrangements (perhaps it is an informal/training day?).

Tresaith Cat Open 18th / 19th May. Usual plan..beach bar, live band, free camping on the beach (if you fancy roughing it) and 5 races including a long distance if conditions are suitable.

Thanks, yes. Apologies to Maxine - she was right all along. I've just received the catamaran fleet update for Carsington. Seems that there will be a 'Fast' cat meeting 13/14th April for F18's TT, Hurricaines 5.9's TT and Fast Handicap – SCHRS equal or lower (Faster) of 1.04 or SCHRS equal or lower (Faster) of 1.25 if carrying an asymmetric Spinnaker. LINK; The September 21st/22nd meeting will be dedicated to D18's (inlands), Sprint 15's (Northern TT) and 'slow' cats. Note; I seem to have lost the dinghy multihull tab on the forum homepage, only managed to find my way here by following my old post?!
