She used to be called Ecocats and was all white when I had her. Yer - you should definately get a cherub, there is now a very good selection up for grabs, Halo for £1500 - VERY good boat, mango and loco which are just the badgers nadgers! Of course they come after my new baby, Aqua

Whats the best way to go about finding out how to import a 12 foot skiff from Oz? my m8 and i have decided its how we think we want to go, but are still considering a cherub, if we can find one that is no older than 3 or 4 years and has both a 97 and an 05 rig, both in the best of condition.

Have a look at Brett Van Munchers website, he
builds top 12 footers it will give you an idea of cost
and why the UK Cherub only has one rig.

Roughly it is about $2500 AUD ( £1250 ) for a 20 foot
container but you'll have to figure in import duty.

If you club together with others to fill the container it
is the best way.

Also bear in mind how to fit the mast into the container!  Most 12' masts are too long by a metre or two to fit in a 20ft container even if they are stump mounted...
