Three things.

1) Were's the hull gone... there wasnt much of it in the first place now its all vanished!
2) What an ugly sail shape or is it just me.
3) How far forward is that centerboard... clearly the rudder is doing more than just providing steerage.

As I see it the sail shape is designed to concentrate the turbulent flow normally associated around tip ends.

A year or so ago I would have ooo and aaahhh at that pic, but now (and
please don't anyone be offended) I just look at that pic and think "yes it's a
skiff, it'll go fast... what of it?". I no longer wish I had the money for a top
spec beiker 5 int 14, I wish I had the money for a europe, or was heavy
enough to sail an OK. I'm the right weight for a 470 helm and am now
constantly bugged that their isn't a large uk fleet of them. I'd love a fireball
and have no doubt in my mind that one day I'll get one.
The last few years I've sailed the 600, 4000, 800 and a little bit of musto
skiff sailing, and now couldn't have much less enthusiasm for that type of
sailing. I want more out my sailing than going fast.

I know exactly what you mean, I still however enjoy sailing quick boats, but I'm just as happy in something like a laser as long as I'm out sailing somewhere or racing in a fleet with similar boats.

But all props to you for giving the build a go hope it turns out well
