Assuming its Kevin's design then no, its not a direct descendant from recent Bethwaite descent. More convergent evolution. The transom, for instance, looks a fair bit like the Italian Bistro Cherub that, although designed by Dave Roe, had some input from Kevin as well. The Bistro long predates the 49er and was designed before any B14s had been seen in the UK. But everyone looks at everyone else's boats anyway... Edited by JimC |

Those racks look friggin huge. Certainly a leap. Am I right in thinking that flat wiring would be impossible though for the helm, for the pure reason that the tiller just couldn't be held in that position. Certainly looks fun though. |
