saw it down at the club today granite wen i was packing the RS, looks really really sweet, your never going to believe who i was talking to about it, bret burvil's family (father , mother and sister) were over from Aus and were down this afternoon looking at the moth, they had nothing bad at all to say about primal, looks awesome up close! When you next going to be out at the club?

Who's up for doing FED Week? 6 days of sailing at HISC for about £30 (unless its gone up a lot from last year), 7th - 12th of August. There were more than 150 boats on the water last year so it's by no means a small event!

There's a regatta on the sunday and then fed week itself is the 5 days during the week. Brilliant location and some stunning sailing.

12's don't use socks for two reasons

1. The kite is just TOO bloody big    

2. socks break down the cloth in the kite

However there are 3 12's in OZ with chutes (similar to I14's setups), however their  rigs are smaller.

Not long till the nationals! As you can tell I'm rather excited. The monster is all painted up now so you will hardly recognise her. No spots or stars in sight any more and i think i sanded off about 10kg of paint!

i can try and take some photos but it won't look very impressive i'm affraid as the boat is currently upside down in the garage! I've sanded the mast and pole and laquered them so you can see all the weave! Looks rather special if i may say so myself
