I still think it looks ugly in the pic on the other page, but nowhere near as bad in the video.

thats meant to sound like i think it looks better in the video but it doesnt, honest, i think it looks better in the video than in the picture but the picture is ugly.

i'll just put the shovel down.

The boom is so low to the deck in an OK that you couldn't tack it without a reasonably deep cockpit to duck into! What's wrong with a bit of freeboard? At least a bit of freeboard allows a choice of hiking positions and a (comparatively) dry ride. In the days before Lasers the International OK was 'the' singlehander for the masses. Glad to see it's still doing well.

am i not allowed to state my opinion? i thought i justified it fairly well, you cant make me change my mind if i think the proportions of a boat dont look right, doesnt mean it wont sail well or be rewarding. just means i dont like the look of it.

only kidding, have only seen the back of the boat, and it cant be that different from a normal mirror.

although a normal mirror isnt exactly pretty.

I think mirrors are alright looking boats, any boat made of wood in good condition always looks pretty good
