that looks ugly. looks far too fat and the cockpit is the wrong shape. teres too much freeboard too.

An aardvark OK.  The new ones from Idol Composites look excellent too. 

A fantastic class, 130 entries for the Worlds in Poland next month, 20 from GBR led by current World Champ Nick Craig.  Genuine International competition unlike many 'International' classes.  Maybe the MPS or Moth will get to as many countries over the coming years, but they will probably need the boost of Olympic selection to take that final step.  The ethos of the Class is friendship.  No one takes themselves too seriously and people stay in the Class for years.  Feels a bit like the 5o5 in that regard.  There is some windy footage of training at Christchurch recently on youtube.  I would post a link if i knew how to. 

Cheap second hand boats are an excellent route into the Class.  Loads of things you can do with the rig to match it to your weight so the competitive weight range is pretty wide.  Have a go!

My brother was big into OKs a few years ago, and I borrowed one of his for a couple of seasons.  Great, very demanding boat to sail well, but oh so rewarding .  Twas a bit of a handicap bandit on a small lake too.... killed the Lasers

We have just had 86 boats from 13 nations at the Musto Worlds ... pretty good for a young class ...
