hi, just wondering if anyone had a polar chart for the projection 762. even better would be a tuning guide and polar plot. as regards general mast set up i believe nigel theadom reckons raked with minimal prebend. this is a good starting point i guess... cheers solarized out |

Hi John The keels were made by different manufacturers and have a different armature and keel bolt arrangement. The later ones have the same ( or similar ) layout to the 920 keels. Both keels used the same pattern so look identical externally. |

Hi John (Hasson) I can get you a lifting eye but I will need to know which keel you have. There are 2 types and I think you have the newer one from yr sail number. Drop me an email at sales@projectionyachts.co.uk Brian |

These are sigma 8 s , this vid of our last race has lots in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iih5umDy3Rc&mode=related& amp;search= We ran aground a couple of weeks ago ... not looking fwd to seeing the keel ! We seem be be ok upwind , the river is v narrow and we have been slow setting genoa out of tacks , however I put a double sheet system on last week , with 2 small blocks on the genoa clew , we gave it a little test last sunday ... the crew were excited by how quickly they could now sheet in the sail , no winch handles needed . Are racing this sunday for a proper test , we may even be a little quicker with luck . Doug .

What sort of Sigmas are those Doug? We race against Sigma 38s which are pretty much the polar opposite of the projection. I've done very little in the boat so far as I bought it in November. We had it out for a race on boxing day which was great fun, but we ran it aground right after the start. When we got off (15 mins later!) we overtook loads of boats and I couldn't get over the upwind pace (there was hardly any breeze). Had it out in a decent breeze in early jan before it came out again and it was great fun offwind. Have replaced the instruments with a tacktick racemaster over the winter and I'm looking forward to trying that out. |

Tim , Weve been playing with our kites , 40 & 45's , the 45 really is noticably more powerful , however in a bit of a breeze the 40 is less of a handful and still powerfull, those 50's will be interesting ! We race against lots of Sigmas , they use 60 m masthead kites , with v spectacular broaches .. they are pretty quick but we seem to be able to hold on to them most of the time , they give us loads on H'cap though . Doug . |

John - that's quite a whack! As far as I can see it must be in the kite - we came in at 0.972 this year and have a 40sqm kite. We've got 150% gen and weigh 1308 |

Hi all , I could do with a stowage chart ! .979 .. ouch , am awaiting mine with a 45m kite , will post numbers when they arrive .Have added lots of new fittings in past weeks, Mr Harken and spinlock have done v well , done a few more winter series races .. starting to know the boat now .. so different to my old H Boat , She has had some real bursts of power at times, I cant wait to get her back to sea with steady winds and to get her wound up properly ! so much to learn though .. can't wait !
