'Chicks dig scares'

2 points, the first one.....chicks dig a good fright, mmmm ladies??

secondly, tell them you did it in a Topper and see what happens, if I were you I'd embelish it to a I14 or the like.

I might be sailing it, but it's still sh**e!

The most memerable part of my time sailing toppers at national events, has to be a nation wide at Poole yacht club. The fact is i was about 11 or 12 at the time and at one of my first majour sailing events. I was sailing down wind on a run in about 20knots of breeze (that to me felt like a force 7!!) towards the bottom wing mark when i encountered a wave about 5 foot high (im not exagerating) when a gust hit my sail and plowed me into the back of this huge wave, the bow was digging in to this wave and slightly pitchpolling. The force of this flung me towards the front of the boat. As i flew towards the front of the boat i managed to slam head first into the bottom section of the mast, cutting my forhead! Well it hurt and i was rescued by my dad in a rescue boat. But as he said to after a plaster and a cup of tea.... Bones heal,Chicks dig scares,Glory lasts forever!!
They call me a farmer becuse im from dorset and listen to the 'Wurzels'! oooh aarrr!
