Cool present...I did tell the kids I'd get a Bug if they were willing to sell the Mirror and Puffin, but it looks like the constant maintainance will continue as they didn't want to know. They wanted the Bug as well! I'm hoping for snow soon as I've just made the kids a sledge for christmas - I guess I should take a pic and post it here, at least once I've rigged it... |

That is the new 'Halo', a Blaze hul with a very different rig.
It has a rotating wing mast (Tasar style) and a larger sail that the standard boat. Crew weight is set at a minimum of 100KG, if you are below that you carry lead. I believe wing width is also fixed and narrower than the standard boat. Still under development but the initial tests look promising. |
