hiking bench

I'm struggling to walk (normally) after to many long beats at the weekend, probably due to lack of excercise over the winter. I have been looking for a design for a hiking bench, something you could knock up in the garage and put in front of the TV for the evening to help get fit for the season ahed.

Anyone got any links or designs for a hinking bench, that won't cost an arm and a leg to make?

You probably want to have a look at your hiking technique if you find it hard to walk., Make sure you put even pressure on both legs and dont turn you toes in or out because that builds up one set of muscles more than others. This is very painful and can lead to Physio - believe me.

tbh he doesnt say which boat it is that he sails but im going for a wild guess and going to say Lark. But definatly get the technique correct as messed up knees are definatly not fun... though (un)fortunatly I cant blame all of mine on sailing.

Circular Saw? far too crude... a decent grinder is what you need, multi purpose! cut stuff, shape stuff, smooth stuff.... and sparks too! you just dont get the right visuals with a saw..
