As I was eating a Pizza while looking at the "best OD dinghy ever" thread on the dinghy section, it occurred to me that the best pizza ever would be far more interesting. Of course, as well as the pizza itself, what would matter is the location it was eaten, the wine/beer it was drunk with and the company it was eaten in. My favourite (of this moment, of course!) is one I ate looking out over a pretty lake in the centre of Brittany, while drinking Breton cider by the bucket. The pizza was large, thin and tasty, with lots of nice cheeses melted on it. Good lunch, followed by a bit of a wobbly walk home! Of course, had I been to Italy, my choice could have been different! |

Does a large thin and tasty pizza constitute one design of pizza or is it a rule on which pizzas are developed.... in which case it doesn't qualify. My choice of a single manufacturer one make pizza from Tescos is much more uniform, garenteeing equal pizzas every purchase.... and thus, superior. |

But that doesn't allow pizza development in line with new technologies, so keeping the pizza up to date and able to be eaten right up to its sell by date. After all, Iceland might bring out a thermoplastic one (actually, judging by the one I had for lunch, they already have) which makes the tesco one seem outdated. Wish I'd been able to have some best Pizza beer with it, actually, but have to drive to collect kids...maybe that was why I was dreaming of the wobbly walk home... |

Any other pizzas, or any future other pizzas, are all inferior to my one make pizza...... I will not tolerate anyone on this forum claiming that any pizza, other than my own choice, is the best. The best thing about my pizza choice is, the cheese..... its just so modern in design and approach.... its rubbery consistancy and flat tasteless taste will never be superseeded.....NEVER |

I had thought of that before....and Id love to try it, but our rules strictly prohibit the use of sauce, or any flavour enhancement condument. The manufacturers tell us that possibly soon, they will bring out their own brand sauce, which will be legal, but all other brands will be illegal - and this one will only be approved if it does not give none sauce users a taste disadvantage. I'd just like to make it clear, to anyone who is trying to use this forum to negatively represent our one design of pizza, that if you have any commercial interest in slateing us, then please mention it, as we feel negative marketing is the most disgusting plague to hit the formerly reputable and well respected British marketing industry.

Totally off subject - another example of why we need My favourite pizza was eaten outdoors in Port Camargue, France. A salmon and seafood thin pizza with spicy olive oil drizzled on top. Several cool beers and possibly the most wonderful waitress ever. |

But my pizza is, while being truely fair, due to the patented equal cheese distribution system, also the most exciting, because the crust (which is the bit we all enjoy the most) is asymetrical, making it easier for a novice chew, and to then launch after too many beers.

So my SMOD pizza is infact "a flat bread product with all the performance of a pizza but none of the vices"? But infact is found to be lacking in taste compared to the real thing?
