Andy...yes it is, I think it's just a sanding "error" in an otherwise flawless board.  I could get the rest to match if I wanted to but hardly worth the effort...no doubt I'm going to whack it into something at full chat one day!

It is pretty big!  It's for the Cherub/12' Skiff I'm building.  Theory was that as we are not the lightest of teams it would get us wiring earlier.

However it's actually longer than the board on our 18!!

but in breeze you can just pull it up a bit and get the best of both worlds. and  does look rather sexy aswell

Mike, not quite, it's about 5.5 foot long, and I'll probably lose about a foot of that in the hull and "tunnel" above the floor.

It was not as much as you might think, worked out at £352 for an all carbon board and sleeve.  Bear in mind that a Laser board is £245 and I think that's good value.

There was shipping etc but as there is a load of gear coming too it's not too bad.
