I live in the midlands (but my dad is actualy a good driver, he just can't play Gran Turismo) I've never played half-life, but when i did work experiance at Warwickshire health Authority, the entire It department spent most of the time playing shootem-up's over the network. (could explain the poor state of some hospitals) |

Tell me, what happens if you get stuck on level 7 and the game goes up to level 20? Does the translation stop or do you just make it up from then on and wait to see if anybody complains or even notices? Or do you include rude and insulting terms to vent your frutstration at those who play the game better than you do?

lol that is a very good point, hmm or would u bee issued with like cheats? but sheesh i do like the idea of rude terms becoz i have noticed someone can get very angry sometimes when playing those thingys, they start like having a full blown argument with the tv hehehe makes them look crazy

For translations, we are issued with the all text files included in the game. It's not so difficult when it's rolling text, but buttons and short phrases can be tricky if they're out of context. Playing the game helps a lot there - it also helps to pitch the register: from 3+ (all kiddies games) to 18+ (arrgh, I've learnt a lot of swear words there When it comes to testing, most game developers provide cheats as well, but it's worth playing the game "nomally" to make sure everything's fine, whether you win or lose. Finishing the game? Start asking around and a spotty teenager (sorry... a functionality tester |
