Uh, okay... wilful ignorance is a strange choice of tactic.

Derek Chauvin is charged with murder.

Wny would his attorney be talking about discrimination?

That is wholly irrelevant to choices made by a world organisation about another organisation.

Discrimination against whom? Class associations are all about discrimination. TLC discriminate against people who own fake sails and recent PSA and PSJ Lasers, not to mention Fireballs and 505s...

There is nothing in WS regulations that require them to recognise class associations. In any case there are a whole set of prerequisites that a CA has to meet before being considered, including signed agreements with the Trademark holders. TLC does not appear to meet a number of these requirements, and the chances of them reaching a Trademark agreement with PSA and PSJ appear slim.

They will continue I should think, see if they continue to grow, can't be refused WS recognition if they get anywhere near UKLA numbers.

I would have thought it would be discriminatory if WS do not recognise a class that meets all WS criteria for an international class.

Just because more people have joined the bogus TLC than  joined the bogus sunfish class doesnt effect how it will be treated by WS . They will still have rule using their own  rules.

TLC are a major step up from 'Sunfish' association, hardly going to be called 'bogus', World sailing will have to take their application seriously.
