I've been at the builders all day today and the plan is for a complete carbon deck which is why I don't want to complicate it with having holes cut in it. If I were to assym it I' mount a pole unit on the deck under the forestay, like the V=twin device, which sadly is big big to transfer to this boat. We're thinking RS200 style system as it's easy for the builder to comprehend.
But I'm musing about the dangly pole idea which would give potentially better options on a dead run in light air.
