	Admin warning: Please find out the full facts before hurling abuse at any organisation. At the moment there are a lot of disgruntled sailors around, but we are not all privy to exactly what went on and why. Once we are aware of exactly what caused this issue to arise, then we can give personal opinions on who is right and who is wrong. 	I'd say Mr Turner seems like an honest chap with little axe to grind, certainly I'd take what he says at face value without needing to question it before agreeing with him....

	While I agree with the principle that Chris was fighting for, neither you nor I are aware of any contractual arrangments prohibiting advertising. I hope it got sorted out amicably.

	No we're not... But sounds like it was handled badly, and frankly, scores an own goal for their sponsors amongst the demographic they are pimping out.

	Absolutely. While the RYA does indeed put a lot of good effort into organising the dinghy show, I'd say their reputation amongst UK dinghy sailors is at an all time low, and they aren't doing a lot to change that at the moment. The fact Chris felt the need to highlight the issue on social media suggests that the argument had gone on for some time without a sensible resolution which is a sad situation. I haven't heard any follow up today and no-one has made an issue of it from the show on social media so I thinks its fair to say that someone must have sorted it all out.
