I'm trying to work out the benefits of this design... other than the PR value. And I have currently failed. I'm sure Mike has a an argument though.

I'm guessing that its an experiment to try and see if solid wings can be built lighter than racks and all the associated gubbins of tramps etc.

The 14s have tried it recently with a couple of boats as has Clive Everest with his Cherub, although clearly there are some benefits on a trapeze boat that aren't necessarily there on a moth.

So come on Cookey enlighten us?

One of the skills I have acquired in my long and varied life is brush graining. If the colour of said Moth offends young Fuller I can make it look like wood.....?
