Well the first day went off quite well after a bit of a dismal rainy start, in the end we had just about every wind direction in strengths from zero to force four and rain, muggy squalls and bright sunshine.
I've had to take back everything I ever spoken ill of that D One, it is a superb boat and the most fun I've had recently in a single hander, it's probably a bit big for me, but nonetheless it's and absolute joy to sail, the very antithesis of that RS100, it's in a totally different league. |

Don't pretend to understand the custard or humble pie comments - probabaly for the best maybe... But GRF in an Icon ? ... now that in itself should really be interesting ! It will be that real life 'Marmite' moment I guess Should be very telling anyway ... Mike L. |
