yeh, Oh its so weird my sis came back from germany today and was onthe fone for like 30mins speaking non stop german to her exchange partner.

when i went to germany, it was a strange experience, everytime i spoke, it all came out in french

lol nah its a normaly thing i did that when I was in germany and then when i got back to england in my french lessons all i could do was think in german. Its quite amusing my sis cant acutaly talk english at the moment. |

That's because you knew you had to speak another language and you instinctively used the one you knew best! At least, you don't come up with things like my 2 year-old says. Just now, asking me to get the last bits out of the yoghurt pot "Maman, YOU grattes it!" (where "gratte" is to scrape...) Everyday communication is a challenge for poor Contender443! |

yer that is very sweet - well when i go abroad i do the weird thing of still talking english to them but putting on a weird accent like when i went to tunisia i spoek english with like an arabic accent - very embarrasing
