Its a shame to see them go, but a pleasure to think of the boat on boat racing they will get with 5.  Something the boat should have enjoyed more of in blighty.

Aussie Cymraeg - Dont know if I know you but am a Pwllhelli and Abersoch Veteran over last decade (Daydream and Daydream Believer plus F Word).  Dont think we will get toSCYC  Keelboat regatta this year (we did last year), but your on the doorstep so we will hopefully meet soon.  Have you considered Liverpool over winter, sheltered and lots of good racing, also cheap??

We are off to Scottish Series next month also, but no Royal Dee or Cork, boo hoo.  Wedding thing....

Where is this Lake which is quickly being filled by Projections?.  Me thinks it could be a good European Road trip for a regatta next year??

It is the large lake in the Muritz region of Germany just South East of Hamburg, the nearest town is Robel. try Google Earthing these and you will easily find it.

Anybody out there still sailing a Projection 762?

I am looking to buy a small trailable fast and competitive boat for club racing with occasional overnight accommodation. Any thoughts on how competitive the Projection is. Any thoughts on Prices? What to watch out for? Any alternative boats I should be looking at.  I have also been considering a quarter tonner as there is quite a revival in the class.  Anybody want to sell one preferably with a trailer. Has anybody towed one and can it be done OK with a 2ltr car?

Your assistance / advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up. I am hoping to buy for this season though. If it doesn't happen then I'll keep an eye on the ads for your boat.

Do most Projections have a trailer and how easy is it to pull them behind an average family estate car?

What is the price range on 2nd hand boats for varying ages
