i was wondering about this the other day as one particuarly boring priest/vicar person was talking about eco friendliness in morning assembly. I realised one main thing. Global warming is due to increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Take all those carbon atoms, put them into cars. This will make lighter and therefore more efficient cars. So not only are you removing carbon from the atmosphere, you are reducing the carbon output of cars.

as for boats, make them all out of carbon so that we use some carbon from the atmosphere. as for when they get old and broken. . . . . . . . well who knows

and now some smart arse engineer or similar will come and burst my bubble by telling me im all wrong.

and how are we to get the carbon from the atmosphere

im no engineer or whatever but that i can't see how we would do it

I was seriously thinking of calling my next Cherub "Carbon Hoofprint" but was worried that towing it behind my Discovery might be a bit un-PC...

However, my mate did justify his 4 litre TVR Tuscan as something that emaits CO2 to "feed the trees"....

I justify my 320bhp Impreza as I have solar water heating system on my roof.
