looking at building my own boat preferbly for not running into thousands and thousands of pounds. Looking at small sailing boats or cats anyone any recomendations please sean x

The Mirror is the numerous kit built boat,  many ten of thousands have been successfully assembled and there is wealth of advice around.

i think you can get a streaker in kit form somwher but can't remember which builder might be Northwest boats or Butler boats

Im slowly  leaning towards the mirror as it seems  one of the most commonest out there. Silly  question time now but it has to be done how easy are these to build what sort of skills do you require to build one as i have basic skills in woodwork and mechcanical things and a garage (dad can i please ) do i require specailist tools or simple toolkit  do any health safty precaution (it had to be asked). any general kit boat builders websites witch i can grow some skills off ta sean
