Well to add to all that im goin down to plymuth uni in sept! thanks to andy cherub for all the advice about the uni and sailing at the dingy show!! - im thinking of either getting a cherub or rs800 to race down there. Unfortunatly im also a crew, im in  29ers (doing euros, nats and worlds this summer) but obvioulsy also looking for a helm. Does the uni website hav a forum for helms/crews wanted anywhere??

Anyone interested in an 18ft skiff ?!?!

At the present moment I am planning on doing both but it's all dependant on whether my summer job will give us time off. Think the other Plymouth boat is planning on doing both events too. Will keep an eye out for people looking for crews if you want because reckon most boats would be happy to do the event with a new but experienced crew instead of missing the event.

We've got two 49ers based at the Mount-Batten Centre in Plymouth just now. Another will definately be joining us in December. Hurricane from this forum is thinking about Plymouth Uni as a choice and may also be getting a 49er. So at the very minimum there will be 2 49ers in Plymouth, probably 3 and possibly 4. Will keep an eye out for other boats being raced out of here over the summer time because we have noticed a few RS-800s out and about.
