My 505 has had leaking Elvstrom self bailers - new gaskets were needed. Sounds as though your problem is at the mast foot / centre board case. Could be tricky to find.

The international 505 website has many useful articles on-line about fixing problems with older boats and links to all countries of the world with a 505 class association. Try there.

yeah, but a A symmetric give a lot more speed when reaching, even than the monster kite i find. but anyway, you get a completly different sail with the different kites, plus the buzz spinnaker is quite large anyway, i only tried it becuase i got given an old A symmetric.

but you can put an A symetric on 4 a laugh!!!

Oh yeah my boat was minimum weight when it was made probably put on a few pounds now !!!!
