We've got equal representation around our necks. Everybody knows that some sports are primarily male-orientated.

Horse racing is one example. Should we have a separate Grand National for women?

I hate golf and think its pointless to have it in the Olympics, but thinking of global participation it can probably claim a strong place.

I love boxing, but no nothing about women's boxing.  That said I also agree it should be in, as it gives fair representation across the whole of that sport.  Unlike sailing where there isn't fair representation of the whole of the sport.

Gutted about the T.

You don't get much quicker than that off the start line!

Well done to Leigh and Will for winning that race.

The Stars made the best TV of the last Olympics. And the boards made the dullest. Yeah, the wind had something to do with both but the closeness of the Star finishes was something else.

Only to sailing experts; to the general public the 49er medal race was the one to watch ....

I know nothing about horses but to me an exciting horse race is one with a neck-and-neck finish.

It's horses for courses (excuse the pun).  All the non-sailors I spoke to who watched the races much prefered the T bird and 49er races.

I'm not telling them what they should do at all, but from everything I understand something other than the 19th Century arrangement relationships between seat pedals and handlebars would be a lot higher performance...

Rubbish, no one could beat Hoy in a kilo on a recumbent, similarly a team of recumbants wouldn't beat a good team pursuit team over 4k, a pair of recumbents in a madison or a points race would be a disaster, the only place where a recumbent might outperform the current rule bikes would be a flat road timetrial.
