a frew of the members at our club charytered a boat to do the round the island race, i didn't go along tho i was offered a place (how desperate are they?) so in sted i sailed round the island on our lake |

my goodness rain!! its soo hot and humid at the moment its driving me mad, and the fact that the tides are silly at the moment so no saiing for me
 .. but at least was a wonderful day as this morning went to watch the start of the round the island race!

YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHH! Friday afternoon (yesterday), sun shining, wind force 3 to 4... Far too tempting I picked up the girls from school, then asked (told!) Contender443 to give up work and come sailing instead Later in the evening, sitting in the garden with a glass of wine, hmm that's what life is all about. |

We had the whole club to ourselves (the whole beach and sea, in fact!). Got the girls in the boats and went for a spin.... It was great !!!
