yeh. the paper would just be a backing sheet to hold them all together while your sanding ( Unless you just glue it to the block, and throw it all away when your done )

You can get dry grit on rolls up to 240 at least - I tend to do large fairing in courser grit on longboards then fine it off with wet on using the little 3m blocks. Try a local car paint wholesaler - they are everywhere...

our school glues the A4 sheet down to boards. if you did the same and stuck a handle on the back it would give you an A4 sized sanding block if that helps?

I'm thinking the WET part of wet and dry would mean you won't find it for a belt sander! I have been searching but can only find the normal sized sheets. Are they not big enough?
