My gut feeling is that it will be very close to the Texel numbers

We are also moving the site to a new server as the message says.

Still waiting on the ISAF for Sign-off....

Things take time.  We are still fiddling around with the rule as a few boats are causing us problems, we are not yet in a position to share the results of our labours.

A number of things were agreed at the ISAF conferance in Finland and I'll be in a position to let people know more details in a while.  I'm sorry, but these things take time as we have a number of "admin" hoops we need to jump thru' before we can make things public.  We are still on schedule for a new rule to be in place for March 2007 - in time for the new season.

I sail a 5m x 2.3m F16 solo, Whats my rating? .97 If anybody needs a favour it's me bohemiath.

Just Jesting i think the T is pretty much spot on at .94 , if you look at the 3 main  long distance races this year  ECPR Tornado Won, Fast Cat Spitfire Won, Forts race F18 won - Arguably 3 of the most popular cat classes all coming out level at the end of the day!!!  for SCHRS

Your .97 may seem harsh but every dog has its day!!!!

The SCHRS for a single handed F16 is currently 0.98.

see www.schrs.com

I may have said 0.97 before.  This was wrong.

Anyway more importantly I have already instructed John over at Stealth to take 15cms out of your main beam...and here's the good bit he'll take the same out of the rear so it doesn't toe out cool eh. could be a handicap bandit!

I don't think he has finished laying up the beams yet !

I'm also waiting to see who the first person is to cut his beams down!!!

Remember when SCHRS was designed, the Tornado was single wire (and the only “wide” boat sailed) and so had (about the) same righting moment as the Hurricane and other twin trap boats.

SCHRS has fallen behind and we are addressing it.  We are already talking about the 2008 amendments !
