I must give the 101 people a pat on the back - they've had the sense, taste and originality NOT to go for the "f***ing is the future" cliche in their marketing.

correct - you flood one hull. They do it the same way on the WETA trimaran.

Should not be too difficult .. if you partly or fully flood a side hull tank.  It weighs not a lot either in relative terms.  Why not ask them direct ?

Approaching 50 and being over 100kg it looks like a great way for an aging skiff sailor to go fast, I would like one now the kids have just about left home. Too many other things in life competing for the cash though! Maybe next year?

It looks very smooth and 'together' in the video.
seeing a few tacks and  gybes would be interesting.
Out of interest, what kind of top speed have you had out of it?

Slightly off topic, but I was interested in the comment  from Do Differant, not sure who featured in the studies, but my personal (limited) experience with sailing with yoofs is that they have the foolishness of yoof.  There was a 16 year old lad who sailed with me on my RS 500 (very good sailor in his own right and got himself an RS600).  Many a time when blowing old boots, we 'd go around windward mark and I'd be thinking - hmm, should we go for the kite, when I hear a yell from the wire to start doing something, kite was up he was out and we were off.  If we screwed up, normally met with howls of laughter and him showing off his under centre board righting techniques. I still sail with  yoofs now, perhaps it is their just go for it attitude I like, (overcomes my caution born out with experience).  I'm sure it depends on the temperament of the people involved, but any sport can make you look silly, being a left winger at Football, it was a bit galling to watch the ball bounce and then go over my head and into touch to great cheers from watching audience!!  Back to topic, would I buy a 101, nope, would I like a go - yep.
