How big is the Chinese girl who has the Olympic Gold? I believe she is very tall? She has also written her autobiography. I met Sarah Ayton a few years ago and she (as well as making me go weak at the knees) was quite small but she was a Europe sailor. Now America's cupping.......back to MPS.

I don't know the latest figures, but I do remember that the ideal weight for a man in a radial was more than for a woman. Turns out what matters is not being far from the norm for the boat, so there isn't any weather you suck in, rather than an ideal for the boat.
When we went to Weymouth in 2012, Sail Laser had some of the Olympic boats. Everyone wanted a go in Alison Young's boat. So glad she has won this. |
