Now that's an entirely new image GRF as the Mel Gibson character in Waterworld, atop a non-catamaran dinghy as wide as the original boat, complete with his trademark split cheek wetsuit.

One day I'll come across a 49er rig at the right price and we'll see what the V2 can do in it's current state. That or a B14 rig.

If there was a prize for conversions, then my vote would go to the GP14 converted to a scale 3 masted sailing ship.

Then you'd just need one 'device' pivoted on the transom below the tiller.  Aft bridle, off-the-boom sheeting and a gnav and away you go.  Wire-to-wire tackers eat your hearts out.

Darting around the office on your castored swivel chair would be the ideal training.

The answer is simple then - put the pivot point near the transom. Make it out of carbon and what's not to like?
