Case Book Updated 2014

ISAF has now published a 2014 Updated version of the Case Book that Includes the Casebook Supplement including the following Q&A rewritten as Cases:  13-005 B 002, 13-013 B 003, 13-015 B 004, 13-014 D 001, 13-006 E 001, 13-007 E 002, 13-008 E 003 , 13-009 J 003

The Class Rules Changes Q&A seems remarkably clear; reckon it is aimed primarily at a particular pair of olympic classes?

New Casebook Supplement and New Q&A

ISAF has issued the following:

Supplement to the Casebook 2014

Case 123:  Port tries to cross in front of starboard. Was Q&A 2013-005 previously 2011-028

Case 124:  Rights and obligations at obstructions. Was Q&A 2013-013 previously 2009-021

Case 125:  3 boats overlapped on port tack approaching an obstruction; a racing boat on starboard tack. Was Q&A 2013-015 previously 2010-001

Case 126:  The rights of an OCS boat that is sailing the course. Was Q&A 2013-014 previously 2010-024

Case 127:  When has a boat ‘cleared’ the finishing line and marks? Was Q&A 2013-006 previously 2006-002

Case 128:  Race committee action when a boat passes the pin end of the  finishing line on the wrong side or touches a finishing mark. Was Q&A 2013-007 previously 2006-003

Case 129:  About shortening of course, finishing when the race committee  is positioned at the ‘wrong’ end of the line. Was Q&A 2013-008 previously 2009-016

Case 130 Case 131:  The role and functions of a measurer or equipment inspector. Was Q&A 2013-009 previously 2011-020

Case 132:  When is a boat on a beat to windward? Was Q&A 2013-010 previously 2004-006

Revised Q&A N003 2013-029 Rubber bands on spinnakers

New Q&A N005 2013-036 About class rule changes

Updated Q&A Booklet
