Well it must be very stiff mainsheet, no bend in either of those pics, you would think on the second shot, there would be some sort of sag, but I defer to your greater knowledge and they are your pics after all. So, what's with the rat chewed wiggle stick then, given it's monday and I'm so obviously bored...

It sure looks like it, doesn't it, but its just the end of the mainsheet... Here's a crop at full size, and one from the previous photo. You don't see it in any other pics from the series. If it's a walking stick its changing in length...
